ABOUT Mr Doodle
Born in England in 1944, artist Mr. Doodle developed a passion for doodling everywhere from his early childhood, including textbooks, furniture, and the walls of fast food restaurants. He developed a style of improvising without drafts, using markers and pens to draw characters and patterns that filled the screen. He describes his work as “graffiti spaghetti” because his style, in which wiggly lines multiply endlessly and intertwine voluptuously, resembles spaghetti noodles intertwining on a plate.
He became the talk of the town when he completed “The Doodle House” project (2022), which took two full years to complete, covering the inside and outside of his mansion with graffiti. He has collaborated with Puma, Fendi, Samsung, and others on events and projects around the world.
In Japan, he held collaborative projects with Hello Kitty in 2019 and Pac-Man in 2023-24.
He creates with the concept of bringing happiness and excitement to people around the world.
