ABOUT Gaku Kakizaki
Gaku Kakizakis works are characterized by thickly painted oil on canvas screens.
Born in Tokyo, Kakizaki finds a favorite Tokyo landscape and brings his canvas and oil paints to the spot where he paints.
By painting in front of nature and landscapes that serve as his motifs, he is able to create a realistic and powerful painting.
