"I title my works "view" because I believe that a painting should embrace the viewer and transport them to a different space from their daily life. I aim to express a coexistence of the vitality of living things and the refreshing feeling of being in nature.
By layering and scraping acrylic paint, I want to convey warmth that can be seen beyond a realistically cold snowy landscape, as well as the strength of waiting for spring while being enveloped in snow, gathering vitality. If my painting can leave you feeling even a little more refreshed and sunny than before, I would be truly happy." — Hiromi Tanaka
