Artist’s comment:
This is part of the "Looming" series from the Lightbulb City collection that I have been creating since 2010.
Inside each lightbulb, I have placed various vintage postcards collected by the artist, filled with liquid and sealed.
While the printed text and photographs on these postcards often become clichéd, they also serve as evidence of the sender’s desire to preserve a memory.
Fleeting and seemingly insignificant memories can easily slip away, and by transforming them into a piece of art, I aim to bestow a certain aura upon them, allowing memories to be preserved in a new form.
When the switch is turned on, you can see both the front and back of the postcard simultaneously, providing a sense of unity to the divided postcard.

The Looming series utilizes LED technology. This piece is for decorative purposes only, and the lightbulb cannot be replaced. Please be aware that the manufacturer’s rated lifespan is [30,000 hours]. The lifespan may be reduced if used in high-temperature environments, so please avoid long periods of illumination in enclosed spaces where heat can build up.
