Masaya Tani
Transition#04 Flowers and water drops
2022
acrylic on canvas original
72.7×91.0cm
Transition Series:
In the moment of switching screens, the next image or landscape gradually appears.
By rendering the presence of both in a transparent yet uncertain, ambiguous, and unstable manner, I aim to reflect the fluctuations of thought that arise from the easily accessible information of modern times.
This artwork is not framed.
Delivery of this piece within Japan will take approximately 1 week to 10 days.
ABOUT Masaya Tani
1981 Born in Oita Prefecture, Japan
2004 BFA in Painting, Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Art and Design, Tokyo Zokei University
I photograph scenes from everyday life, then process the images to extract the boundaries between objects and light, and from them paint pared-down landscapes rendered in contour alone.
