Artist’s Comment:
"The Looming series of light bulb cities, created since 2010, incorporates various vintage postcards collected by the artist inside the bulbs, filled with liquid and sealed. While postcards often feature formulaic text and printed images, they also represent the sender’s attempt to preserve a memory. Fleeting and seemingly trivial memories can be elusive, and by transforming them into artwork, I aim to bestow a certain aura upon them, allowing memories to be preserved in a new form. When the switch is turned on, both the front and back of the postcard can be viewed simultaneously, giving a sense of unity to the otherwise divided card."

Usage Notes:
The Looming series uses LED technology. This piece is intended for display purposes only; the bulbs cannot be replaced. The manufacturer’s designed lifespan is approximately 30,000 hours. Please avoid prolonged use in areas with high temperatures, as this can shorten the lifespan.

Included Accessories:
Comes with a socket and adapter, compatible with 100–240V.

Delivery of this piece within Japan will take approximately 1 week to 10 days.
