ABOUT Rokkaku Ayako

She is an artist whose distinctive style is to paint directly on the campus or cardboard by hand, without using any brushes or other tools.
She first attracted attention when she exhibited at GEISAI organized by Takashi Murakami, and has since held solo exhibitions in Europe to high acclaim.
Currently working in the Netherlands.
A unique style of live painting and her cute little girl motifs are highly acclaimed not only in Japan but also in Europe, where she sold more than 100 copies of her live painting at Art Basel in Switzerland. Although more and more of her works are being sold at auctions, the number of her works is still small, and both originals and prints are still difficult to find through retailers. There are many factors that contribute to her reputation, such as her style, age, and overseas activities, and she is an artist of note who is expected to continue to be active in the future. She has the potential to become a world-renowned artist like Yoshitomo Nara and Takashi Murakami.
