SHIN ISHIKAWA

 Born in Fukuoka Prefecture. With a background of Japanese-Brazilian immigrants, after moving to Tokyo, he confronted himself with his own self, which led him to become a photographer. Since becoming independent in 2007, he has been working on the theme of contrasts in the human heart and mind, and has been working with his subjects as if he were cutting them out of himself. In 2015, he moved to New York to pursue further evolution. Since returning to Japan, he has expanded his field of expression by directing and shooting commercials and music videos in addition to stills, and most recently directed the poster key visual for Takeshi Kitano′s film "Kubi" and the TAKEO KIKUCHI key visual.
