Yasutoshi Ishibashi.

Ishibashi graduated from the Department of Art and Design at Sokei Academy of Fine Art and Design in 1973. In 1979, he joined the Tamarind Institute at the University of New Mexico. In 1981, he was awarded the title of Tamarind Master Printer. In 1983, he established the Ishibashi Printmaking Studio, and in 1998, he founded the L’Art Vérité Lithography Institute. While assisting emerging artists in printmaking, he remained actively engaged in his own artistic pursuits. He passed away in 2024, leading to the closure of the institute, leaving behind a legacy of excellence in lithography. His works are distinguished by their uniquely rich colors and crisp, striking impressions. With his unparalleled technical mastery, he created pieces that transport viewers into a one-of-a-kind, two-dimensional world.
