About

Horst Antes

The unique figure with a large head and no torso immediately followed by legs represents the Gnome (God of the Earth). The huge, mask-like, thoughtful head, sometimes placed in a room, sometimes in a scene of ruins, creates a world of its own that does not fit into any category. The world evokes a dream community involving the viewer.
