Tomoko Sue was selected for Nikkei Nihonga Grand Prize.

The Higashiyama Kaii Memorial Nikkei Nihonga Grand Prize aims to discover the next generation of Japanese painting artists.

Tomoko Sue was selected for the 9th award.

 

This is the second time for the exhibition to be selected, following the 8th edition in 2021.

Selected works are currently on display at the Ueno Royal Museum.
