The Haruna Niiya Exhibition “Unforgettable” has opened today at WALLS TOKYO.
Niiya has primarily presented silk-screen prints featuring motifs such as grass, trees, and birds.
Observing nature—its plants and animals, wind, stars, and reflections on water—Niiya feels not alone, but part of a cycle connecting past to future. To ensure she never forgets these scenes, she crystallizes them into works, as if confirming each one individually.
This marks her first solo exhibition in about two years and her debut solo show at Walls Tokyo. We invite you to view this exhibition.
