We have started to deal in lithograph works by printmaker Yasutoshi Ishibashi.

WALLS TOKYO is pleased to announce that it will begin handling lithograph works by printmaker Yasutoshi Ishibashi.

Ishibashi graduated from Sogata School of Art in 1973 with a degree in plastic arts and was a member of the Tamarind Lithographic Institute at New Mexico State University in 1979.

In 1981, he received the title of Tamarind Master Printer.

In 1983, he founded the Ishibashi Printmaking Studio.

In 1998, he founded the LArt Verite Lithographic Institute. He has been involved in the production of prints by up-and-coming artists and has worked as an artist himself.

He passed away in 2024, and with his death, the institute was also sadly closed.

His lithographs boast a depth of color that is unique to lithography, and a printing technique that is somehow rigid and crisp.

We hope you will take this opportunity to view the world of beauty backed by his skill.
